The following items are the minimum standards required to deliver our services and may include requirements for operating systems, hardware, applications and their versions or patch levels, along with other factors.
We will do our best to support items that do not meet our minimum standards but it is at our sole discretion whether to charge you additional for this service.
COMPUTERS
- Must be less than than 4 years old.
- Must contain an SSD or faster Hard Disk.
- Must contain a supported Operating System (Windows 8 or newer).
SERVERS
- Must be less than 5 years old.
- Must be covered under a hardware replacement warranty.
- Must contain a supported Operating System (Windows 2012 or newer).
NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE
Items such as (but not limited to) Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Wireless Access Points, Storage Area Networks, Network Attached Storage and Printers:
- Must be less than 5 years old.
- Must be covered under a hardware replacement warranty.
- Must be covered by an active support subscription.
OTHER MICROSOFT SOFTWARE
If the following software is used within your environment they must be of the minimum versions and patch levels:
- Microsoft Exchange (Version 2013 or newer).
- Microsoft SQL Server (Version 2012 or newer).
- Microsoft Office (2013 or newer).

ALL SOFTWARE
- Must be correctly licensed and compliant.
- Must be patched to the required software version and build as advised by the vendor.
- Must be covered by an active support subscription.
ALL DEVICES
- Must be owned by the company, with a TechEnvy support agent installed.
- Equipment must be fit for purpose – SOHO (Small Offices and Home Offices) equipment is not supported.
