techENVY began with a clean slate – not a business we inherited or bought into, but one we built from the ground up.
After wrapping up our previous roles and took a well-earned break, we found ourselves with a rare opportunity to create something of our own. No baggage, no legacy systems, no half-finished plans.
It was an itch we’d been waiting to scratch for years. After spending time in the industry, we saw how complex technology could get, and how many people weren’t even sure what they were paying for. What stood out was that clients wanted clear outcomes, honest advice, and someone who would simply get the job done right.
We started with no clients and no name recognition – just a solid plan and a lot of drive. Winning that first client felt great. So did the nerves that came with chasing the next one. We signed on suppliers, built our systems, and set up the tools we needed from scratch. Laying the right foundations while juggling income and expenses was a real challenge, but a rewarding one.
We’ve been long-time mates and have worked side by side since 2011. Over time, we’ve built a likeminded team that shares our values: keep things simple, do them properly, and always be upfront with the people we work with.
Based in Melbourne and working with clients across Australia, we specialise in Microsoft 365, Azure, and cyber security. We’re ISO 9001, 27001 and 42001 certified, and we’re proud of what we’ve built.
The journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been ours. And we’re just getting started.

What hasn’t changed is my passion for helping businesses solve problems, create efficiencies, and stay secure. Whether it’s cloud solutions, cyber security, or automation, I love finding the right technology to support business growth.
I believe IT should be more than just a service – it should be a strategic advantage. That’s why I enjoy working with businesses that value security, compliance, and doing things properly. Getting to know the people behind the business, understanding their challenges, and providing solutions that truly make a difference is what drives me.

I’ve been in the IT industry for over two decades and I’ve always been drawn to the challenge of complex projects. What I enjoy most is breaking down that complexity, designing enterprise networks that just work, and delivering solutions that make a real impact. For me, there’s no such thing as a job too hard. It’s just a problem waiting to be understood.
I don’t try to be the loudest voice in the room. I’d rather listen carefully, get to the heart of what’s really going on, and design a solution that actually fits. That’s where I do my best work.
